The State of Delaware offers you health, prescription, dental, and vision coverage that allows you to tailor your health care to best meet your needs.

• Health Insurance
  The State offers you many options for your healthcare at very reasonable rates with Highmark Delaware and Aetna. You can choose from one of the following non-Medicare health plans: Highmark First State Basic, Aetna CDH Gold, Aetna HMO, or Highmark Comprehensive PPO.

  Note: If you are enrolled in a group non-Medicare health plan, you automatically receive additional benefits which include Prescription Coverage, the Employee Assistance Program, health management and wellness programs and SurgeryPlus.

• Prescription Coverage
  Individuals enrolled in a State of Delaware non-Medicare health plan, administered by Highmark Delaware or Aetna, are automatically enrolled in the State of Delaware non-Medicare prescription plan. CVS Caremark is the pharmacy benefit manager for the State of Delaware.

• Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  The ComPsych® GuidanceResources® EAP program is a FREE and confidential program available exclusively for all State and Participating Group employees and non-Medicare eligible pensioners, including temporary, casual seasonal, and benefit-eligible employees/non-Medicare pensioners who are not currently enrolled in a State of Delaware non-Medicare health plan. The EAP program offers confidential emotional support, online support, interactive digital tool-myStrength, work-life solutions, legal guidance, financial resources, and identity theft services.

• Dental Insurance
  The State offers you two providers for dental care. They are Delta Dental and Dominion National. The PPO Plus Premier Plan, administered by Delta Dental, allows you to visit any licensed dentist you choose while the DHMO Dental Plan, administered by Dominion National, offers in-network only benefits for fixed copays. Qualified expenses under both plans include preventive services, basic services, major services, and orthodontic benefits.

• Vision Insurance
  Personalized eye care helps you see well and stay healthy. The State offers vision insurance provided by EyeMed Vision Care at very reasonable rates.
