Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill


At the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill (DHCI), you will find young adults to those past 100 who will look to you for their primary needs. As the largest long-term care facility in Delaware, DHCI provides the most comprehensive range of services including a Secure Care Unit, Adult Day Care, and Gero-Psych Team. Our “low tech/high touch” approach is enhanced by a computerized, interdisciplinary care planning system located at each nursing station.

DHCI is located on a beautiful 62-acre campus next to Lake Como. A fishing pier and gazebo highlight the attractive amenities of the campus.
